.UK domain names are now available for all .co.uk owners
On the 10th June 2014, Nominet made .uk domain names available for the first time, and are reserving .uk domains for existing domain name holders. If you registered a .co.uk domain name before 10th June 2014 (for example itpie.co.uk), and are still the registered owner, then you have the reserved right to register the .uk equivalent up until the 10th June 2019 (i.e. itpie.uk). You have five years to register this new domain name, so it won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. Nonetheless, we would recommend registering this new domain if you are eligible, you wouldn’t want to forget and lose it!
