Introduction
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a website from search engines via “organic” listings. The results in the left column in Google which is not labelled “Sponsored Links” is known as Organic listings, the rest are Pay Per Click (PPC) links and the company has paid Google to have a “Sponsored Link” there – we can also help with Pay Per Click (PPC).

In a nutshell improving the volume and quality of traffic to your site is what a good Search Engine Optimisation company should do, but beware those who make impossible promises. There are companies who will promise to get you position number 1 in Google, Google themselves claim this is an impossible promise and the chances are they’ll optimise a word which your customers aren’t searching for! Great you’re Number 1 and still no one can find you because it’s the wrong keyword.
