Quick tips for improving your email marketing campaigns

Email marketing is never a guaranteed win, but there are two quick tips to help you benefit more from this useful tool – focussing on quality content, and optimising the frequency that you send eshots.
 

If you focus on creating and sending a few high quality, personalised emails, rather than a load of frequent general emails, you can improve your click-through rates and conversions. Campaign Monitor found that personalised email messages improve click-through rates by 14% on average, and eConsultancy’s report into personalisation found that 74% of marketers agreed that personalised emails increase customer engagement.

Determining the optimal email frequency is also crucial. Minimising email blasting and adding more contextual content, focussing less on churning out a large volume of emails and more on the effectiveness of single emails. As well as ensuring you get your message across, you’re less likely to have your future emails go straight to spam.
